Student Government Association

The Charter Day Middle School Student Government Association (SGA) is composed of 16 members, four officers and 12 representatives (four from each grade level).  Students interested in running campaign for the position and are elected by the student body.  Members are required to maintain a 3.0 grade point average and adhere to all Roger Bacon Academy rules and RBA Pledge.

The SGA is in charge of direct communication about school wide issues or ideas between students and the principal.   SGA hosts three dances a year and plans and organizes events like Earth Day.  Members serve as ambassadors for the school during the lottery and other events.  SGA is also in charge of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Walk and fundraises money for this event as its annual philanthropy.
